Features

Three things, done properly

Pick a place

Follow your phone, or choose a city anywhere in the world.

Set your threshold

Choose the smallest magnitude that should reach you.

Nothing to track

No account, no tracking. Your location stays on your device.

How it works

From a seismometer to your lock screen

  1. Agencies confirm the quake

Five seismic networks report each quake as they confirm it. We merge their reports into one event.

  2. Magnitude sets the reach

Bigger quakes alert a wider area. Places outside it see the quake on the map instead.

  3. The alert lands

One short line with the magnitude and location. If the magnitude is later raised by a full step, you get a second alert.

200 kmradius

Places within 200 km of the epicenter get the alert. Everyone else sees it on the map.

You · 240 km away · map only

A friend · 105 km away · alerted

The alert radius roughly doubles with each full step of magnitude.

Privacy

Nothing about you leaves your phone

We send alerts to a wide area, not to you. Your phone decides which area to listen to, and never tells us.

  • No account, no sign-up, no email.
  • Your location stays on your phone.
